Does all this seem to be too much?
Of course it does. Because you are blinded by this world and it's agenda.
All the bad examples of today's Christianity can be blamed on man, not God.
You don't trust me? That's fine... See for yourself...
Pick up a Bible and look to Jesus...
You will be shocked.
You will find.
You will see.
You will see that this world will judge you more than Christ
ever will.
And then you will feel more stupid than ever...
And yet more wise as well.
Most importantly, you will find liberation, salvation and peace.
He's waiting...
He's promised that He will never turn his back on you...
And this world you so tenaciously cling to?
It has already forsaken you many times over, yet you still look to impress...
This resentful world...
Your fellow man...
Your shallow self.
What are you afraid of?
Is it failure...Is it pain?
With the world, failure and pain are indictments which are never forgiven...
With Christ, failure and pain are opportunities.
With Christ, failure and pain are trophies, honors and medals.
With Christ, failure and pain are promises--Suddenly manageable.
What do you REALLY want?
Is it MORE?
Well, if it's more money, power, glory, sex, or stuff...
Then you're exactly where the world wants you.
You're on track to reap the best the world has to offer.
It really is an easy formula...
Anybody can be rich...If that's the goal.
If your purpose is to horde money (or anything else)...
All you have to do is ask yourself...
What am I willing to do to get it?
What am I willing to sacrifice to get it?
Relationships, time, health, integrity...
BUT...
When you get it...When you reach your unreachable goal...
You will find yourself so empty, flat, burned out and useless,
that if you've got enough left, you may actually look
in the mirror
and ask yourself,
"How in the hell did I get here?...And why
did I do it?"
You do it because of FEAR.
You don't want to let down this world and those in it...
You love all the wrong things.
You've sold out and bought in to a dream that has been designed to destroy you.
The relentless rant of "MORE, MORE, MORE!" will leave you with nothing left.
Leave your fear and go to Him.
You ask, "Why?" I say, "Why not?"
What have you got to lose?
It's about RELATIONSHIP, not religion...
It's about being ACCEPTED FOR WHO YOU ARE,
not being rejecting because you don't fit in or aren't good enough...
Christ is the only one who will say you are good enough as is. Period.
Accept Him and he will never abandon you.
The promise is that YOUR LIFE WILL HAVE MEANING...
The alternative is that you are simply a brain-washed consumer...
God has a purpose for you...
And so does the world.
Which side are you on?
Essentially, you have two options, but keep
in mind, they are very different...
God's purpose is all about you and your relationship with others.
The world's purpose for you is obvious...
It has nothing to do with your happiness, satisfaction or peace.
If it did, why would we be so constantly bombarded by it's agenda?
Why didn't the first one million products that
promised satisfaction fill our void?
It is why so many commercials are "selling smiles"...
Watch the ads, everyone is smiling...
But you can't have that smile until you buy their product...
Whatever it may be.
And then what do you do with your empty pockets and empty smile?
They want you to forsake everything you value to work harder and get the next new thing...The
next bigger, brighter and better smile.
When you tap into God's purpose, it will all make sense...
Sure, now it seems confusing...
Why would you go to a doctor if you didn't think you were sick?
Well, you're sick. Face it. Come clean. Look in the mirror and see
the disease.
The doctor is in...
He's willing to fix you, but you have to ask.
The cure is invigorating, meaningful, satisfying and eternal.
If you search for comfort...You will never find the truth (until it's too late).
If you search for the truth...You will find comfort.
It's time to kill the lies...
It's time to wake up and feel...
It's time to realize...
It's time to get real.
